Kenneth J. Traficante, JD, CFP®

Ken specializes in comprehensive financial and estate planning, serving high-net-worth individuals and business owners with tailored strategies designed to meet their personal and business objectives.

Prior to joining The Pillar Group, Ken held the position as Director of Advanced Planning at Equitable Advisors in New York City. In this role, he consulted with advisors and their clients on sophisticated financial, estate, and business planning strategies. He guided clients through the complexities of estate tax rules and the strategies available to help them preserve wealth and transfer assets efficiently.

Ken holds a Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law and a Master of Science in Taxation from Seton Hall University. In addition, he earned the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

Ken previously served as President of the New York City Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and was a Board Member of the Estate Planning Council of New York City, Inc. He is currently an active member of the Bergen County Estate Planning Council in Paramus, NJ.

Ken holds the following registrations with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) through Equitable Advisors: The General Securities Representative (Series 7), Registered Principal (Series 24), Uniform State Law, and Registered Investment Adviser license. He holds life and health insurance licenses in multiple states.

Ken grew up in Rutherford, NJ and currently lives in Verona, NJ with his two daughters. He is a graduate of Fairfield University and enjoys an active lifestyle that includes boating and skiing.
